SBS S.p.A. RECEIVES ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFICATION

SBS SpA strives for constant improvement. To this end, the company has now gained UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 Certification for the “Design, development and sale of products for telecommunications, information technologies and home entertainment” at its Miasino site; and “Logistic management of products for telephony, information technology and home entertainment” at its Paruzzaro site.

What is ISO 9001:2015 Certification?

It is an international standard based on required quality management principles. These include: Customer Focus, Leadership, Staff Involvement, a Process and Systemic Management Approach, Continuous Improvement, Fact-Based Decision Making and Mutually Beneficial Supplier Relationships. It is a standard that defines requirements for quality management systems. It also allows organizations to voluntarily audit these systems and their related production processes.

The certification process

The certification process involved verification of compliance with in-force anti-COVID regulations. This required a 2-day verification process at the Miasino and Paruzzaro sites.
All work processes were carefully and meticulously checked by the certifying body (Bureau Veritas). This is internationally-recognised accredited entity which assessed SBS SpA. It assured compliance with the ISO 9001 standard requirements and subsequently issued the certification which has a 3-year validity. This certification is monitored throughout this period by other checks as well.

An important recognition

The company is constantly monitoring and improving its business processes. This process of analysis and verification has led the company to develop its Quality Policy and implement a Quality Management System.

For SBS, the ISO 9001 certification is an important recognition. It certifies the proper implementation and upkeep of our existing consolidated management system.
