SBS will be present at the starting lines along with all the Vibram® UTLO athletes. For the third year in a row, our company is sponsoring the famous international Trail Running event held in the heights of the province of Verbano Cusio Ossola. Omegna, as European Capital of Sport 2019, will be the nerve centre of this sports event, held from 18 to 20 October, as its starting point and logistical centre. Over 2,300 athletes will be competing over the five different routes of 140 km, 100 km, 60 km, 34 km and 17 km. Once again this year, our company is renewing its interest in sport and the local area. SBS technology will, in fact, be at the service of the athletes: the runners competing in the two longest races will find a pair of in-ear stereo earphones in their race pack. Two charging stations will also be located at strategic points along the route: in Omegna, the starting point and refreshment point, and in Arola, acting as an aid station. Using chargers with a range of outputs (Micro USB, Type-C and Lightning), the athletes will be able to charge their smartphones and other portable devices. Once again, SBS will be represented in the races. This year it's the turn of Mirko Cerutti, Stefano Piana, Massimiliano Ceresa and Riccardo Piscia.
